The Founding Society
Urdu Education Society was established in 1973 under the visionary leadership of late Haji Zahiruddin Shaikh. The society's foundational aim was to combat illiteracy, poverty, and backwardness among the underprivileged and minority communities of the Marathwada region by establishing educational institutions from primary schools to post-graduate centers.
Under the dynamic guidance of President Haji Masood Ahmed and the executive council, the society has grown into a premier educational trust managing multiple institutions across Aurangabad district.
Chishtiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khuldabad
Founded in June 1989 in the renowned historical and spiritual city of Hazrat Khwaja Zar Zari Zar Baksh (R.A.), Khuldabad, the college was established to fulfill the long-cherished dream of providing accessible higher education to rural students of Khuldabad taluka and adjoining hilly villages.
Affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), the institution has continuously expanded its academic horizons:
- 1989: Inception with Undergraduate Faculty of Arts & Science
- 1999: Introduction of Home Science & Vocational Courses
- 2003: Physical Education optional introduced
- 2009: Post Graduate (M.A.) Programs in Urdu, Marathi, History, and Political Science
- 2021: Establishment of Ph.D. Research Center in History
- 2022: Re-accredited by NAAC with 'B+' Grade (CGPA 2.64) in Cycle-3
