About the Department
The Department of Urdu was established in 1989 at UG level and PG (M.A.) in 2009 under Urdu Education Society. The department preserves the rich cultural heritage of Urdu language, literature, calligraphy, poetry, and classical arts.
Vision
To preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Urdu language, classical literature, ghazal, and promotion of ethical human values.
Mission
To ignite the sense of elegance, dignity, and communicative eloquence, equipping students to excel in education, media, and society.
